The Birth of CityGate Church:
CityGate Church was born from a profound spiritual experience that led my wife and me to dedicate ourselves to spreading Christ’s message of hope, joy, and freedom. Despite early skepticism from friends and family, who questioned our faith and motives, we remained unwavering in our mission. As Lebanon faced economic challenges and the COVID-19 pandemic, CityGate Church became a refuge for many seeking spiritual guidance and support. Our home-based Bible studies began to grow, attracting a community in need of comfort and direction during these difficult times.
Seeing the impact of our outreach and evangelistic efforts, we recognized Zahle’s unique role as a cultural crossroads and saw an opportunity to expand our ministry. Embracing this vision, we made the decision to sell our home and car, fully committing to the mission of spreading the gospel and investing in the future of our ministry. Through these efforts, CityGate Church has become a beacon of hope for the community, driven by our faith and dedication to sharing Christ’s love.
