My name is Elie Al Hourany, and my journey with God is a tale of darkness turned to light, a symphony of despair transformed into divine harmony. It began long before I was born, with a prophetic dream my mother had.

A Divine Beginning
Before I was born, my mother had a vision, a celestial encounter that would shape the course of my life. A man in white, a heavenly messenger, descended from the clouds and instructed her to visit a nearby church. There, she would find a newborn baby, a child destined to bear a name of divine significance.
Following this prophetic guidance, my parents discovered a newborn boy named Elijah. As a result, my name was changed from Michael to Elie, a name steeped in biblical tradition and prophetic promise.

A Skeptic's Descent
While I didn't initially believe in dreams or visions, I grew up as a logical and skeptical person, excelling in mathematics and physics. I later specialized in accounting and finance, embracing the rational world of numbers and logic.

In 2006, a series of cataclysmic events began with my father's heart stroke. This led to financial ruin, my father's disability, and the need to drop out of college to support my family.

The Abyss of Despair
As I navigated these challenges, the world around me seemed to crumble. Betrayal, heartbreak, and severe nightmares plunged me into the abyss of despair. I questioned the existence of God, embracing atheism and delving into the works of renowned thinkers.
My despair reached a crescendo when I attempted suicide twice. It was during this darkest hour that I found a flicker of hope in my wife, Nisrine. Her unwavering love and support helped me through my struggles.
Together, we started a business in 2009 and were eventually blessed with a child, Christopher. However, Nisrine's post-delivery depression cast a shadow over our happiness.
A Ray of Light
On January 6, 2019, a pivotal moment occurred. During a heated argument about Jesus, a group of American Missionaries approached us. Their prayers and words, like a celestial chorus, pierced the darkness of my soul. A powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit left me perplexed and in tears.

The Divine Transformation
I began to read the Bible, a sacred text that had once been a foreign language to me. As I delved into its pages, I discovered the truth about God and Jesus, a truth that illuminated my path out of despair.
The realization of my past sins and the forgiveness offered by Christ filled me with a newfound peace and hope.
A New Creation
I gave my life to Jesus, got born again, and dedicated myself to studying the Word of God, immersing myself in its teachings. Through this spiritual journey, I witnessed the transformative power of God's love and grace.

My story is a testament to the unwavering love of God and His ability to redeem even the most broken souls. Through countless challenges and trials, I have found purpose, healing, and eternal hope in Jesus Christ.
